✓We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team as an Air Import Coordinator
✓As an integral part of our company, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of air import operations

✓Responsibilities
✓Coordinate and manage air import shipments from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and customer requirements
✓Prepare and review shipping documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and import declarations, to ensure accuracy and completeness
✓Collaborate closely with customers, carriers, and agents to arrange for timely pickup and delivery of cargo
✓Communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders to provide shipment status updates and address any concerns that may arise
✓Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure proper clearance of goods and adherence to customs regulations
✓Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments, such as delays, damages, or missing documents
✓Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipment records in our internal systems
✓Continuously monitor and optimise processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
✓Requirements
✓Previous experience in air import operations, preferably in a freight forwarding or logistics company
✓Strong knowledge of air import regulations, documentation, and procedures
✓Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks in a time-sensitive environment
✓Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills
✓Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
✓Proficiency in using computer systems and software related to logistics and import documentation
✓Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently
