✓Job Description
✓To adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company health, safety and quality regulations
✓Manage the output of assigned production room / lines, meeting daily production targets - effectively dealing with issues as and when they arise
✓Manage an efficient production plan v’s work load
✓Support the Shift Manager with Onsite Agency staff management/requirements
✓Effectively use the integrated management system [Vision] to aid in the delivery of:
✓Quality and tractability
✓Maximise production efficiency to ensure plan is met on an hourly/daily basis
✓Stock control
✓Ensure the final product meets client specifications [SPI]
✓Be involved and support the risk assessment process
✓Manage changeover of lines/product and sign off ready for production run
✓Ensure all work orders are correct, [to include material/stock check available]
✓To ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures
✓Support the Shift manager and production Controller in ensuring all areas comply with hygienic audits, both internal and external
✓To ensure GMP [good manufacturing practices] and housekeeping [clean as you go] are strictly adhered to
✓Train and identify training for all Line Leaders and Production workers
✓To assist in the training and development of new starters
✓To assist in the identification and development of agency staff who demonstrate the potential to become IPS colleagues
✓To act as a role model for best practice
✓Support the Monitoring and control of all forms of waste
✓Play an active part in continuous improvement
✓To act as specialist for machinery knowledge
✓Qualifications
✓MHE – POPT Licence [optional]
✓Pump Truck
✓Vison / WMS / SAP knowledge
✓IOSH managing Safely
