Description✓Driver Hire Dundee are recruiting for a Class 1 Driver for shunting work at a large distribution centre in Dundee
✓This position offers full time hours, with an immediate start.
✓As a Class 1 Driver, you must:
✓* Have CE entitlement on your UK driving licence
✓* Have valid CPC
✓* Have a digital tachograph card
✓As a Class 1 Shunter Driver, your responsibilities will include:
✓* Safely moving refrigerated trailers around the yard
✓* Driving a mixture of rigid and articulated vehicles around the yard
✓* Parking trailers and vehicles into loading bays, ready for collection
✓* Being ready to head out on the road to cover a route, if required by the transport manager
✓The successful Class 1 Driver [Shunter] can expect:
✓* Full time hours Monday to Friday
✓* £13.45 per hour [including holiday pay]
✓* Weekly pay
✓* Overtime available if desired
✓* Average of 48 hours per week
✓* Opportunity for full time employment
✓This position would be suitable for newly qualified HGV or LGV Drivers looking to gain experience and work on their reversing skills.
✓This position is based in Dundee, but commutable from Arbroath, Forfar, Carnoustie and surrounding areas.
