Location: Home based with potential site visits
Salary: £30,000 - £55,000 [based on experience and skill level]
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for numbers and a passion for cost analysis and planning? We have an exciting opportunity for a Cost and Planning Analyst to join Menzies Distribution and make a significant impact!
As a Cost and Planning Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing innovative solutions to optimize our cost management and planning processes
You will collaborate closely with the Head of Cost & Planning, working directly with central departments, to ensure that agreed-upon actions for cost reduction are tracked, monitored, and successfully delivered.
Cost & Planning Analyst Responsibilities
Day to day management of Cost Control & Forecast reporting
Ownership of detailed action plans delivering & releasing benefits
Producing clear action plans & clear metrics on benefits
Liaising with other members of the operational team to deliver agreed cost 100-day plan
Ability to run workshops and seek agreement on actions
Stakeholder management
Ability to review and monitor operational processes then deliver recommendations to deliver cost savings
Cost & Planning Analyst Requirements
Strong analytical background with the ability to analyse and report large data sets with clear and precise reports
Strong desire to establish root cause of cost capturing and supporting the installation of corrective measures to produce best practices 
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Full and current UK driving license
Nationwide travel and occasional overnight stays [as required]
Available to work varying shift patterns [day & night]
On 24-hour call
