Customs Business Development Executive
Description✓We are actively looking to recruiting a Customs & Business Development professional for an exciting new role based on hybrid basis in Nottingham as a Customs Business Development Executive! You will either have a operational customs or sales background to excel!

✓Our client is a market-leader in the freight forwarding sector with over 500+ offices worldwide and 25 based in the UK
✓The business turns over in excess of £8 billion however operates as a family-run business within the UK market
✓My client is looking to adapt their stragety into the sale of customs documentation to their current and new customer bases
✓Description
✓As a Customs Business Development Executive you will be responsible for the sale of customs documentation to both new and existing customers
✓Use existing database to source opportunities to develop EU and UK Customs clearance and bureau prospects.
✓Achieve profit growth through effective commercial management of new and existing accounts.
✓Demonstrate growth on a monthly basis and achieve the targets set out in the Bureau scheme.
✓Maximise all revenue opportunities from existing accounts by proactively pursuing underdeveloped areas.
✓Generate new prospect leads and meet customers face to face, Teams/zoom and via the telephone.
✓Follow the company sales policies and procedures.
✓Implement and onboard new accounts.
✓Update the CRM with records of all sales telephone calls, visits & Opportunities.
✓Prepare and submit monthly reports in a timely fashion.
✓Assist in the development and implementation of new services.
✓Both provide and record timely, accurate, competitive pricing while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
✓Maintain contact with all clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
✓Conduct company presentations.Profile
✓The successful Customs Business Development Executive will be able to work on a hybrid based - however will have the option to potentially travel to Nottingham one day per week! You will also have the following skills and experience:
✓3+ years experience in either customs sales or customs operations.
✓Ability to succeed and a drive to exceed targets
✓Commercially minded
✓Sales flair and tenacity to succeed.Job Offer
✓£40,000-£65,000 - basic salary
✓Uncapped bonus potential [first year circa £15k-£20k dependent on your results]
