Delivery Driver - Van
Description✓Calling all van drivers!
✓Earn from £99 per day + bonus [£11 p/h per hour based on 9 hour days]
✓A fantastic opportunity has arisen for self-employed delivery van drivers to work with our client, delivering parcels from the world's leading online retailer, commencing 24th April
✓All you need is a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points and you will be provided with the full training and support you need to get started

✓Working as a delivery driver you will be driving a van loaded with parcels and will be required to deliver to a number of locations in your allocated area
✓This is a Delivery Driver role where you'll spend the majority of your day out on the road - so a passion for driving is a plus!
✓The number of deliveries each day will range from 100 to 175 depending on whether you are doing small or large route
✓Your vehicle will be pre-loaded and the routes are condensed so you will have a high number of deliveries in a small area
✓For example, you could have 20 + drops on 1 housing estate
✓Your typical day will be 9 hours
✓Parcels will be a variety of shapes and sizes but we do not anticipate any parcels to weigh more than 25kg
✓Once you start you will be provided with 8 days of training
✓This includes 2 days classroom, 2 days of shadowing and then 4 days on the road with a mentoring system in place to monitor performance and help you achieve your bonus
✓Our Perfect Worker
✓Our perfect delivery driver will have a flexible approach as no 2 days are the same
✓Be available to work Saturdays on a rotation basis
✓You will hold a full UK driving licence, be at least 18 years of age for insurance purposes and have no more than 6 penalty points for minor offenses
✓You will be comfortable in driving a transit size vehicle and ideally have a minimum of 6 months experience in driving as a job or doing deliveries
✓Before you start you will be required to do a basic DBS check [basic background check] and also pass a D & A [Drug & alcohol test]
