Demand Planner
Description✓Demand Planner - Urgent
✓Brook Street is looking for an experienced Demand Planner to join a large organisation located in Splott, Cardiff
✓This role is for a large manufacturing company
✓This role is Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:30, with a half hour early finish on Fridays.
✓Production Schedule Maintenance
✓The loading and control of the Manufacturing Orders via MRP System and to run MRP program at the end of each day
✓Works Order Control
✓Release material via works orders [kits] in line with the demands generated via the M3 MRP System.
✓Liaise with Stores Department to ensure the timely issuing of kits
✓Coordinate the storage and transfer of materials / products to and from the external storage facility.
✓Liaise with Production Department for the replenishment of material.
✓Closing Manufacturing Orders as required.
✓Safety Stock
✓Maintenance of the planning criteria for all make items in the M3 ERP system to enable Finished Goods stock replenishment, making sure minimum and maximum stock levels are maintained.
✓Sales Requirement Coordination
✓First point of contact for Customer Care Department regarding product availability information.
✓Attend Meetings
✓Managing Change
✓Raising change request when required.
✓Raising change notes when instructed.
✓New Product development
✓First point of contact for engineering to raise trial batch kits for future development
✓Create the kit list for engineering
✓Liaise with production manager on resource availability
✓What type of skills/experience do I need to be considered for this role?
✓Previous experence of inventory management
✓Costing experience
✓MRP knowledge essential
✓Good communication skills essential
✓Computer literacy including Microsoft packages is essential [Excel]
✓Must have excellent attention to detail
