Logistics Co-Ordinator
Description✓Logistics Co-ordinator, Crewe, £Competitive Salary
✓Role Profile
✓Our client is a highly successful manufacturing business with a site based in Crewe
✓They are currently looking to appoint a Logistics Coordinator to support their established Supply Chain team.
✓The key purpose of the role will be to oversee fulfilment of B2B customer orders including arranging shipping and distribution of orders to overseas customers.
✓Key responsibilities will include:
✓Processing customer orders from initial receipt through to final shipment
✓Acting as point of contact for customer, resolving queries on order status and providing fulfilment reports
✓Arranging shipment of orders [sea and air freight], including raising POs for freight / transport suppliers
✓Producing relevant and accurate shipping documentation and import / export documentation for customs
✓Maintain strong relationships with logistics suppliers, including monitoring performance through tracking KPIs
✓Skills and Experience
✓The successful candidate will demonstrate:
✓Proven experience in a logistics or supply chain role
✓Previous experience of customer order fulfilment in a B2B environment
✓Good working knowledge of customs procedures and import / export documentation
✓High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
✓Excellent communication and influencing ability
