Operations Coordinator
Description✓Our client based at Manchester airport are looking for Multimodal Freight candidates for the role of Operations Coordinator to be based in Manchester

✓We are currently recruiting for an Operations Coordinator to be based at our Manchester office.
✓What You'll Be Responsible For:
✓Ensuring shipments are invoiced within agreed timeframe
✓Ensuring quotations are issued in line with customer requirements, product guidelines and documented per branch process
✓Supplier invoice disputes are actioned within agreed timeframes and as per company guideline
✓Timely preparation of job files [inclusive invoicing and cost accrual] in readiness for approval by line manager
✓Timely approval of Supplier Invoices
✓Coordinating with customers and provide freight forwarding services as required
✓Coordinating with overseas offices and network partners
✓Observing Standard Operating Procedure [SOP] agreed for customer / product / trade lane
✓Processing bookings via GAC in-house freight management system
✓Coordinating UK Import and Export Customs clearances in line with government guidance
✓Job requirements
✓The following skills are desirable:
✓Qualifications: DG Awareness, Aviation Security [Airfreight Operations]
✓Minimum 3 years' experience within Freight Forwarding / Logistics industry
✓Good computing skills, including all areas of Microsoft Office
✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills
✓Ability to maximise sales opportunities
✓Able to provide a high standard of customer service at all times
✓Knowledge of Customs Declaration Service [CDS]
✓Knowledge of ASM Sequoia
