Operations Manager
Description✓We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our Client team, based in Northfleet
✓As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing daily operations, including the manufacturing facility [production and finished goods] and warehouse, to ensure efficient and smooth production processes
✓Roles and Responsibilities:
✓Oversee and manage daily operations, including the manufacturing facility and warehouse, to ensure efficient and smooth production processes.
✓Develop and implement effective strategies to improve manufacturing and warehousing operations, streamline processes, and maximize productivity.
✓Manage and lead a diverse team of supervisors and team leaders, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure optimal performance and a positive work environment.
✓Collaborate and communicate with other departments, including technical, quality, and procurement, to streamline operations and ensure seamless coordination.
✓Evaluate existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
✓Work alongside the quality team to conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and industry regulations.
✓Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain a safe working environment, and implement appropriate safety protocols.
✓Establish key performance indicators [KPl's] and regularly monitor operational performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
✓Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation, suggesting new ideas, and implementing best practices.
✓Skills and requirements:
✓Previous experience working as an Operations Manager is essential.
✓Previous experience working as an Operations Manager within manufacturing is preferred.
✓Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma.
✓Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management.
✓Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
✓Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
✓Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
✓Shift pattern: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5.30pm
✓Salary: £40k - £60k [dependent on experience]
