Are you an experienced Supply Chain professional, looking to support the growth of a materials planning function within a global organisation experiencing year on year growth?
This Leading Drinks Business is currently in the market for a Materials Planner
We are looking for an experienced and driven individual to support processes and planning of Raw Materials across EMEA.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage the shipment of Raw Material to a third party Bonded warehouse.
Ensure stock level at the bonded warehouse are maintained based on forecast demand.
Maintain monthly Stock Turn Metrics and Supplier Service Level for all plants.
Issue raw material forecasts to vendors and ensure regular formal supply reviews with main vendor.
Monitor stock allocations and customs clearances out of bonded warehouses.
Ensure that correct import and export clearing documents are obtained from the supplier in a timely manner.
Regularly maintain the supplier issue log for performance tracking and Reporting
Prepare and issue purchase orders according to company purchasing policies and procedures
Ensure accurate planning parameters are reflected in SAP and regularly review to achieve optimum materials inventory holding within the network
Regularly check for potential stock-outs due to purchasing delivery delay
Take immediate action to ensure material availability by expediting PO for earlier delivery when necessary.
Closely work with the Operations project team to support new products implementation through the supply of new raw materials.
Monitor Best Before Date of ingredients to minimise wastage
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance around delivery performance and order fulfilment
Build good work relationships with suppliers and other cross functional team members
Ideal Experience and Background Required:
Experience in material/supply planning
Warehouse stock management knowledge
Strong people and communication skills
Must be a team player and demonstrate successful experience working in a cross functional international team environment
Knowledge of EMEA customs, duty and compliance in relation to both import and export is desirable
Must have advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills
Must have strong understanding of MRP
SAP experience is desirable
Ability to work independently and achieve goals and meet timelines
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong sense of urgency and able to perform well under pressure.
