Transport Operations Manager
Description✓Search Logistics is recruiting a Transport Professional to join one of their clients in the Birmingham area.
✓This Opportunity will best suit an experienced individual who has a background in planning, staff management and dealing with operational & Transport needs.
✓Location: Birmingham + other locations
✓Salary: £40 - £55,000k
✓Benefits: Pension, Holidays +more
✓Overview:
✓Planning Drivers across the UK and EU if required
✓Planning Operational staff and day-to-day management
✓Debriefing Drivers and Driver meetings [own and Agency staff]
✓Driver Compliance and Driver Management
✓Speaking with Internal and External Stakeholders
✓Working in different environments [corporate / Unionised]
✓Dealing with all H&S Enquirers and Operating compliance
✓Ability to manage a budget and cost control of a depot [ P/L]
✓Team Development, One to Ones, recruitment and skill-based training
✓Dealing with Multiple Operations
✓Ideal Candidate:
✓CPC qualification [ not required ]
✓2 years of Planning Experience
✓2 years of Management Experience
✓Multi-System Usage
✓Client Management
✓Understanding of Transport and Logistics movements
✓Large industry knowledge
