Description✓Transport Planner required in Stockport
✓You will be joining an independent specialist haulage company that are experts in all they do.
✓Working with a team of planners, you will learn and develop new skills, becoming an expert yourself.
✓To be successful you will need route planning experience from within a general haulage business.
✓Package:
✓£28,000 - £32,000 [DOE]
✓Monday - Friday
✓07:30 - 18:00
✓Occasional sat AM's
✓Role:
✓Transport Planner will be routing company vehicles UK wide
✓You will be planning for dedicated loads, General Haulage & Abnormal loads
✓It is essential that you ensure full compliance with all legislation
✓Transport planner is expected to work with a team and liaise as needed
✓All drivers must be fully briefed and de-briefed with tacho analysis
✓Requirements:
✓General Haulage / Heavy Haulage background
✓Must be able to plan vehicle routes
✓Previous use of TMS beneficial
✓Excellent work ethic / attitude
