DescriptionSimply Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to work in a vibrant primary school in Boston
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator or a newly qualified teacher looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
The position is available from September and will continue throughout the entire academic year, ensuring continuity for our students
The Teacher will be working based on a 0.4 contract working in the afternoons on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across various subjects in the absence of the regular classroom teacher during their PPA time.
Adhere to the school's curriculum and policies, adapting teaching methods to suit the individual needs of each class.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to actively participate and achieve their full potential.
Maintain effective classroom management and ensure a safe and secure environment for all students.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share resources, ensuring a consistent and high-quality educational experience for all students.
Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and complete necessary assessments and paperwork as required.
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns or queries.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status [QTS] or equivalent teaching qualification.
Previous experience working with primary school students is highly desirable, but newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply.
Strong knowledge of the primary school curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
Ability to adapt lessons and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/guardians.
Organizational skills to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to provide consistent educational experiences.
