About the role:
Behaviour Mentor - Hackney
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will need to have at least 1 year of experience working with young people who have challenging behaviours in order to be considered for this position
There is a fantastic opportunity for a bubbly and proactive Behaviour Mentor to join a school as a Behaviour Mentor, which will offer support to students between the ages of 11-16 inside and outside the classroom
You will have the opportunity to work with students who have ADHD, SEMH, as well as challenging behaviour in your role as a Behaviour Mentor
Experience with Team-Teach and physical handling training is desirable
In order to be able to meet the students' needs, it is essential that the ideal Behaviour Mentor is capable of handling complex situations because of the students' needs
As a behaviour mentor, one of your main duties will be to maintain a close relationship with your class teachers and members of the behaviour team in order to keep track of students' attendance and behaviour at school.
