Are you a dedicated and supportive individual with a passion for helping students succeed in their post-16 education?
We are seeking a College Learning Mentor to join our school in Uxbridge
This role involves working within A-level classes, providing 1:1 support, and offering valuable guidance on careers advice, job applications, CV writing, and further education applications.
Located in Uxbridge, our school provides a dynamic and supportive learning environment for sixth form students

Responsibilities:
Work closely with A-level teachers to identify students who may benefit from additional support and develop individualized learning plans.
Provide 1:1 mentoring and support to students, helping them overcome academic challenges and achieve their goals.
Assist students in developing effective study skills, time management strategies, and organizational techniques.
Offer guidance on subject-specific content and help students develop a deeper understanding of their chosen subjects.
Assist students in writing CVs, ensuring they highlight their skills, achievements, and experiences effectively.
Provide guidance and support for further education applications, including university applications, apprenticeships, and vocational courses.Qualifications and Requirements:
A degree level qualification in a relevant field
Previous experience working with young people in an educational or mentoring capacity is advantageous but not essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and establish a supportive mentoring relationship.
Knowledge of A-level curriculum and requirements.
Familiarity with careers guidance, job application processes, CV writing, and further education pathways.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
