Cover Supervisor
Description✓We are currently recruiting for vibrant and enthusiastic individuals who are considering a career working in the Education Sector as a Cover Supervisor within Secondary Schools in the Uxbridge area.
✓You would be working closely with Secondary Schools as a cover supervisor in and around the Uxbridge area on a day-to-day and long-term, permanent basis, providing the nurturing care and support students need to thrive on an academic and personal level
✓You will be given the opportunity to work within various Secondary Schools as a cover supervisor, therefore versatility is essential

✓Specific responsibilities can include:
✓Confidently use classroom technology to deliver the lesson and set homework previously prepared by the teacher
✓Effectively manage Secondary School student behaviour, following the Secondary School's Behaviour Management Policy
✓Assist in preparing the Secondary School classroom environment
✓Recording and reporting attendance at lessons in accordance with Secondary School's policy
✓Ensure you are up-to-date with the Government guidelines on Keeping Children Safe in Education and follow the Secondary School's Safeguarding Policy at all times
✓Providing adequate handover for their usual class teacher
✓Payment for Secondary School Cover Supervisors ranges from £85-£100per day dependent on experience, training and qualifications.
✓You will be considerate, patient and must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability
✓A passion for working with Secondary School children along with great classroom management skills is also required for this Cover Supervisor role.
✓Ideally you will be educated to degree level and have experience working with Secondary School children.
✓Due to the nature of this job it will be required for an enhanced criminal record disclosure to be undertaken, together with safeguarding and compliance checks.
