Cover Supervisor
Description✓I am currently working with a lovely secondary school in Liverpool, who are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Cover Supervisor to start in September 2023 on a long term - 12 month position.
✓As a Cover Supervisor you will have a varied day and will supervise classes of 11 to 16 year olds in the absence of their usual class teacher.
✓Job role for the successful Cover Supervisor
✓* Managing the behavious of pupils within the school policies and guidelines
✓* Deliver enthusiastic lessons for a range of subjects across the national curriculum set by a qualified teacher
✓* Ensuring work and observations notes are left the the usual class teacher on their return
✓Requirements:
✓* Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor within a Secondary School
✓* Genuine passion for teaching and working with Secondary pupils.
✓* Good knowledge of the secondary curriculum
✓* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively with the students and your colleagues
✓* Punctual, organised and reliable
✓The successful Cover Supervisor must have a DBS ideally on the update service or be willing to apply for one over the summer.
