✓Role Overview
✓Trigon Recruitment are recruiting for a Domestic Energy Tutor who will teach aspiring EPC Assessors in the London area
✓Working for an independent training provider on the AEB contract you will support learners by delivering the Domestic Energy Qualification
✓You must hold a Domestic Energy Qualification to level 2 and a Level 3 Retrofit qualification.
✓Some travel around London will be required though the majority will be centred around East London
✓Previous experience in teaching is a distinct advantage and a teaching qualification is required.
✓Responsibilities:
✓Deliver engaging training sessions and workshops on domestic energy management, including energy-saving techniques, renewable energy options, and behaviour changes.
✓Develop and deliver training materials, presentations, and resources to support the learning objectives.
✓Assess and evaluate learners' progress, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
✓Stay updated with the latest industry trends and regulations related to domestic energy efficiency.
✓Collaborate with other team members to develop new courses and training programs.
✓Assess and mark work in line with awarding body standards.
✓Requirements:
✓Hold a Domestic Energy qualification to level 2 and Level 3 Retrofit qualification.
✓Possess a relevant teaching qualification, such as PTTLS or equivalent.
✓Proven experience in delivering training or teaching in the field of domestic energy management.
✓Strong knowledge of energy-saving techniques, renewable energy options, and retrofit solutions.
✓Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with learners of diverse backgrounds.
✓Ability to tailor teaching methods and materials to meet individual learner needs.
✓Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
