About the Role
As an Economics Teacher, you will have the unique opportunity to engage students in the study of economic principles, theories, and their practical application
Through thought-provoking lessons and real-world examples, you will inspire students to develop critical thinking skills, financial literacy, and a deep understanding of the economic forces shaping our society.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver dynamic and engaging Economics lessons to secondary school students, fostering their interest and enthusiasm for the subject.
Utilize a variety of teaching techniques and resources to create interactive learning experiences, catering to diverse learning styles and abilities.
Develop and implement well-structured schemes of work and lesson plans, incorporating up-to-date economic concepts and current affairs.
Encourage students to think critically, analyze economic data, and apply economic theories to real-world situations.
Provide constructive feedback, monitor student progress, and offer individualized support to help students achieve their full potential in Economics.Requirements:
Qualified teacher status [QTS] or equivalent certification.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Economics, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to deliver engaging lessons and foster classroom discussions.
Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes active student participation and independent thinking.
