✓The Role
✓Working across both the Higher and Further Education Engineering departments to help service and maintain a range of equipment, help strategically plan the development of facilities and develop a robust maintenance schedule for any equipment, whilst working co-operatively as part of a large team.
✓Duties will include supporting staff and facilitating students in laboratory and workshop scenarios to undertake a range of practical tasks in an engineering context [from constructing projects including tasks such as drilling, cutting or welding to performing experiments with digital electronics, hydraulic or pneumatic systems or telecommunications for example].
✓What we are looking for
✓You should possess a UK Honours degree or ENIC recognised degree in a related discipline
✓ Experience of operating a range of relevant equipment, instructing and developing practical forms of delivery in an Engineering context is essential as is experience of undertaking risk assessments and managing risk in a technical environment
