✓Key responsibilities:
✓- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum and syllabus, for students aged 11-16.
✓- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, fostering a love of learning and creating a positive classroom environment.
✓- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure each student achieves their full potential.
✓- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including involvement in extra-curricular activities and school events.
✓- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to the continuous improvement of the department and the school.
✓Requirements:
✓- Qualified Teacher Status [QTS] or equivalent, with experience teaching English in a secondary school setting.
✓- A passion for the study of English, and the ability to inspire and engage young learners.
✓- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
✓- A strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
