General Teaching Assistant - Full time opportunity
Description✓Are you an outstanding Teaching Assistant in the L12 area? If so, I want to hear from you
✓This fantastic school is looking for an experienced TA to support a year 2 class.
✓The role consists of working under the direction of the class teacher, ensuring the child remains on task, promoting positive peer friendships and social skills
✓Being able to work independently with the child and assisting with group interventions.
✓You will need to demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills and a calm, professional attitude
✓Reporting back to the teacher on the children's progress and how they are responding to tasks and general day to day activities is a must.
✓We are looking to fill this vacancy ASAP
✓This is a long-term position, offering some CPD training opportunities
✓The working hours are 8.30am-3.30pm with a competitive daily rate to offer.
✓To be considered for this role you will be:
✓Understanding to the child's needs
✓Experienced in supporting children of ages 5-11
✓Able to commit full time, long term for continuity for the pupil
✓Have good communication skills [written & verbal]
✓Hold relevant childcare qualifications
✓Able to work closely with the teacher to further development
