✓Role Overview:
✓As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
✓Assisting teachers in planning and delivering tailored lessons for students with SEN
✓Providing one-to-one and small-group support in literacy, numeracy, and social skills
✓Supporting students with personal care and well-being, including toileting and feeding
✓Developing positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
✓Maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment
✓Requirements:
✓A degree in a relevant subject area, such as Education, Psychology, or SEN
✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills
✓Understanding of the needs of children with SEN, particularly Autism and SEMH
✓Patient, empathetic, and positive attitude towards working with children
✓Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
✓Possession of an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the update service or willingness to apply for one
