✓We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Secondary School Health and Social Care Subject Lead to join our team at a large secondary school in Hackney
✓As the Health and Social Care Subject Lead, you will be responsible for providing leadership and management of the subject area, and for ensuring the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning.
✓The successful candidate will have experience teaching Health and Social Care in a secondary school setting, and will be able to lead and inspire a team of dedicated teachers
✓You will have a strong knowledge of the subject area and will be able to develop and deliver an exciting and engaging curriculum.
✓Health and Social Care Subject Lead Job Responsibilities:
✓Providing leadership and management of the Health and Social Care department
✓Developing and implementing schemes of work and lesson plans in line with the national curriculum
✓Assessing and evaluating student progress and providing feedback to students and parents
✓Managing and maintaining equipment and resources, and ensuring a safe and hygienic environment
✓Participating in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to support the effective delivery of the curriculumThe successful candidate will:
✓Have experience teaching Health and Social Care in a secondary school setting
✓Have a relevant teaching qualification and QTS
✓Be highly knowledgeable in the subject of Health and Social Care
✓Be able to lead and inspire a team of teachers
