Higher-Level Teaching Assistant
Description✓Protocol Education are in close collaboration with an ambitious, community focused secondary school in Victoria, Hackney who are seeking to appoint a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant.
✓This school is looking for an experienced HLTA who has experience in providing support to children with learning difficulties including Autism and Social & Emotional needs.
✓Experience or qualifications working in one or more of the following specialist areas: autism, dyslexia, literacy, numeracy or literacy support programmes is highly advantageous.
✓As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will be working with the students 1-1 and in small groups, creating reports on what happens throughout the day.

✓Requirements of a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant:
✓Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✓Excellent pupil behavioural management skills
✓The ability to work with minimum supervision and direct a team
✓Experience working with children with SEN [Autism ADHD, Global Delay, MLD/SLD] on 1:1 basis or in classes
