✓Qualiteach is currently working with a SEMH School who is looking for an experienced Humanities Teacher who is able to join them in September on a full time, permanent basis
✓However, if the successful person is available sooner, the school can accommodate and start them sooner on a temp to perm basis
✓You will be responsible for a small class of 6-8 students in KS3
✓You will be required to teach them History, Geography, Religious Studies and Citizenship
✓All of the students you will be teaching will have some form of Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and can be quite challenging
✓Due to the students needs, they will all be working at different levels and will have varied methods of learning
✓During your lessons you will always have 2 Teaching Assistant with you, who will be there to support the students during their lessons when they are struggling and to manage any behavioural outbursts
✓Therefore, the ideal Humanities Teacher for this role ideally needs to have previously worked in a Pupil Referral Unit, SEMH School or a challenging mainstream school
