✓We are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistants to join our team in secondary schools across Islington.
✓As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students in their learning journey and ensuring they receive the best possible education.
✓Responsibilities:
✓* Supporting the teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and helping to create a positive learning environment.
✓* Assisting with classroom management and behaviour management, promoting positive behaviour and attitudes towards learning
✓* Providing support to individual students or small groups of students who need extra help with their learning.
✓* Preparing resources and materials for lessons
✓* Monitoring and assessing student progress and providing feedback to the teacher.
✓* Liaising with parents and carers and attending meetings as required
✓Requirements:
✓* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✓* A patient and positive approach to working with children.
✓* The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
✓* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
✓Qualifications:
✓* A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable [e.g., Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education, or a T Level in Education and Childcare]
✓* GCSEs grades 9 to 4 [A* to C] in English and Maths or equivalent
✓* A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field is also a plus.
