✓The role - Learning Mentor
✓For this role, I am actively recruiting for a friendly and experienced Learning Mentor who is keen to work with students across primary and secondary with SEN and challenging behaviour
✓The role will require you to work closely with the students, building a rapport with them by providing academic and emotional support
✓You will also need to encourage the students to be proactive and independent with their learning, promoting life skills
✓Due to the needs of the students, the ideal Learning Mentor will need to have experience working with children or young people who have been diagnosed on the Autistic Spectrum, have Complex Needs and challenging behaviour
✓This role requires a full-time commitment
✓SEN School - Learning Mentor
✓This thriving ASD school is located in Hillingdon and caters for students aged between 4-19 years old with Special Educational Needs such as Autistic Spectrum Disorder
✓The school is very small and has around 210 students therefore, class sizes vary from 8-10 pupils along with 2 teaching assistants in class
✓This school has good transport links and on-site parking available.
