✓Remedy are seeking dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to join our team and support the delivery of a personal development program to primary learners at KS1 and KS2, ensuring the best possible outcomes for learners with emerging Social, Emotional, and Mental Health [SEMH] needs.
✓Key Responsibilities:
✓Work under the guidance of Personal Development and Therapeutic Instructors to assist in the delivery of a comprehensive personal development program.
✓Provide individualized support to learners, assessing their needs and utilizing your specialist skills to enhance their participation.
✓Foster an inclusive and accepting learning environment, promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all learners.
✓Support learners consistently while recognizing and responding to their individual needs.
✓Encourage cooperative interaction among learners and actively engage them in various learning activities.
✓Promote independence and employ strategies to recognize and reward achievement of self-reliance, facilitating successful learning transitions.
✓Provide constructive feedback to learners on their progress, achievements, behaviour, and attendance.
✓Contribute to specific interventions designed to support learners' re-engagement in education
✓Main Requirements:
✓Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role, preferably within the field of SEMH.
✓Excellent assessment skills to identify and meet the diverse needs of learners.
✓Strong ability to establish positive and productive relationships with learners, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
✓Effective communication and interpersonal skills to support and guide learners.
✓Demonstrated commitment to promoting effective participation, enhancing individual learning, and raising aspirations.
✓Familiarity with strategies for target setting and personal reflection to support learners' progress.
✓A passion for education and a genuine desire to help learners achieve their full potential.
✓Ability to work collaboratively within a team, complementing the work of instructors.
