A well regarded local secondary school is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic learning support assistant
Experience working in a school previously is desirable though not essential for the candidate with good relevant experience.

Ability to be a positive role model in the lives of our students
Confident and outgoing personality who can think on their feet
Knowledge of supporting students with SEN
Someone who is capable of dealing with challenging behaviourYour role within the school:
Working in tandem with the learning support department to support learners to achieve academically
Liaising with teachers from all departments, as well as with parents and outside agencies to build a holistic picture of each child you are working with
Assisting teachers in formative and summative assessments
Develop and deliver group workshops for students identified with Behavioural, Social and Emotional Difficulties [BSED].
Small group work intervention for Maths and English
