✓A well regarded local secondary school is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic learning support assistant
✓Experience working in a school previously is desirable though not essential for the candidate with good relevant experience.
✓What the school is looking for:
✓An enthusiastic educator with a passion for working with young people
✓Ability to be a positive role model in the lives of our students
✓Confident and outgoing personality who can think on their feet
✓Knowledge of supporting students with SEN
✓Someone who is capable of dealing with challenging behaviourYour role within the school:
✓Working in tandem with the learning support department to support learners to achieve academically
✓Liaising with teachers from all departments, as well as with parents and outside agencies to build a holistic picture of each child you are working with
✓Assisting teachers in formative and summative assessments
✓Develop and deliver group workshops for students identified with Behavioural, Social and Emotional Difficulties [BSED].
✓Small group work intervention for Maths and English

✓We are LTF and we recruit on behalf of schools
✓We only offer long term to permanent contracts and this particular role would be starting in September
