Description✓Job Title: Male Teaching Assistants for children in primary, secondary and SEN school settings

✓We are currently seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with support experience to join our school in Hackney
✓The successful candidate will work alongside the SENCo and class teacher to provide support to students with special educational needs and disabilities, including personal care and medical support.
✓Key Responsibilities:
✓Provide one-to-one support for students with ASD and PMLD
✓Support students with personal care, including toileting, feeding, and dressing
✓Work alongside the SENCo and class teacher to create and implement individual education plans [IEPs] for students
✓Support students in accessing the curriculum and reaching their full potential
✓Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents/carersRequirements:
✓Experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant
✓Experience providing personal care to children or adults with special needs
✓Knowledge of medical conditions and procedures
✓Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✓Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✓Flexibility and adaptability
✓A positive, enthusiastic and proactive approach to workQualifications:
✓NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare
✓Previous experience working in a school environment is desirable but not essential
