Responsibilities of the role:
Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive math lessons to students in line with the curriculum guidelines.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and active engagement in mathematics.
Utilise a variety of teaching methodologies and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
Assess and monitor student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to promote growth and improvement.
Identify and address individual learning needs, providing additional support where necessary.
Collaborate with fellow teachers, parents, and administrators to create an effective and cohesive educational experience for students.
Stay updated with the latest developments in math education and employ innovative teaching techniques to enhance student learning.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.Qualifications and experience:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field [Master's degree preferred].
Qualified Teacher Status [QTS] or equivalent teaching certification.
Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary school level.
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods.
Passion for mathematics and a genuine desire to inspire students to excel in the subject.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
