Maths Teacher
Description✓Job Title: Maths Teacher
✓School: Secondary SEN School
✓Requirements: QTS
✓Location: Bristol
✓Pay: £650 - £1000 per week [experience dependent]
✓The School and Role
✓I am looking for an experienced Maths Teacher to work in a Secondary SEN school from September 2023
✓The school would welcome applications from experiened Teachers and also ECTs [Early Career Teachers]
✓You will be required to teach Key Stage 3 Maths and the class sizes are around 6-8 children
✓You will be supported by 2 to 3 Teaching Assistants also
✓The children all have a diagnosis of SEMH [Social, Emotional Mental Health] therefore you must be resilient and having a sense of humour helps!
✓This is an exciting time to join a welcoming and inclusive school and have a real impact
✓Many of the staff go on to permanent contracts, but there is no pressure to do so.
✓Requirements
✓The ideal Maths Teacher will have:
✓• Experience of teaching Maths to secondary aged pupils
✓• Experience of working with pupils with SEND or challenging behaviour would be advantageous
✓• QTS and DBS on the update service [or be willing to process one with us]
✓• An ability to work as part of a team
