✓GSL Education is seeking a qualified Maths Teacher to work within a Client Secondary Alternative Provision in Selby, North Yorkshire from September 2023
✓This is a part-time position, teaching Key Stage 3 students with social, emotional and mental health needs

✓To differentiate assignments for both KS3 students to ensure the needs of all students and met.
✓Support Maths catch – up programmes throughout the age range.
✓Increase expectations for student performance, as well as to keep track of and encourage student growth.
✓Create educational materials as needed by various organizations, such as the head, the SLT, parents, and others.
✓Must carry out all obligations and tasks stipulated by the school's teaching and learning policies.
✓Leading, organising, and directing support employees in the classroom as necessary.Maths Teacher Requirements:
✓Hold a UK Teaching Qualification such as PGCE, B.Ed, PTTLS or QTLS.
✓Have experience of teaching KS3 Maths.
✓Be knowledgeable and experienced in teaching young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.
✓Have two recent educational references that relate to your teaching experience [placements can be accepted for ECTs].
✓Good understanding of children and young people's development and learning processes.
✓Ability to effectively communicate with all children, young people, families, and caregivers.
✓You must have an enhanced Child Only DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education
