Tradewind are looking to recruit a 2nd in charge of Music to join a high achieving Music Department
The successful candidate will help lead on the delivery of Music to both Key Stage 3 & Key Stage 4
Key Stage 3 you will be teacher a combination of performance, composition and listening-based studies
Helping student to learn how to sing and play a variety of instruments in a number of performance contexts, listen and talk about Music
Key Stage 4 you will teach a combination of performance, composition and listening-based studies and help student learn how to play their chosen instrument and develop skills in using a variety of techniques through traditional and ICT-based approaches to composing
The exam board used is Eduqas.
Rated outstanding by Ofsted, they is one of the top performing schools in the country based on GCSE outcomes
In 2019, 82% of our Year 11 students achieved a good pass [Grade C/4 or above] in both English and Maths while 36% of Year 11 students achieved a grade 7, 8 or 9

As 2nd in Charge of Music you will be accountable for:- -
Sustained outstanding attainment in Music Key Stage 3 & 4
Sustained outstanding teaching and learning in Music Key Stage 3 & 4
Sustained outstanding assessment in Music
- Promoting safeguarding of all students and equality of opportunity for all students and staff
Maintaining professional standards -
Promoting the school's ethos and vision.
You must have Qualified teacher status or teaching qualifications from another country allowing one to obtain QTS within a year of commencing employment
A degree level qualification in a relevant subject
Skills, knowledge and abilities
