✓* Provide support to the nursery team in delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 2-4 years.
✓* Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
✓* Create a safe and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable to explore and learn.
✓* Support children with personal care routines, including feeding, toileting, and maintaining hygiene.
✓* Observe and assess children's progress and development, maintaining accurate records and reporting to senior staff and parents as required.
✓* Collaborate with the nursery team to establish an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
✓* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering effective communication and partnership.
✓* Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines and safeguarding procedures.
✓* Aid in the maintenance of a clean and organised nursery environment.
✓* Contribute to the planning and preparation of resources and learning materials.
✓Nursery Practitioner Requirements:
✓* Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a nursery or early years setting.
✓* Demonstrated passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
✓* Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage [EYFS] framework and its application.
✓* Excellent communication and engagement skills with children, parents, and colleagues.
✓* Patient, nurturing, and compassionate nature, coupled with a genuine love for working with young children.
✓* Basic understanding of child development principles and a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
✓* Desirable but not essential: Relevant childcare qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Childcare Certificate.
✓* Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
