Nursery Practitioner
Description✓A well-established Nursery located in a rural area not far from Northampton, is expanding their team and looking for Nursery Practitioners to work with the over 2’s to 4 age group
✓Their beautiful setting in a converted Grade II Listed farmhouse and old dairy, places heavy emphasis on a ‘home from home’ environment, with high quality care and exceptional grounds for children to explore
✓They pride themselves on low ratios, expansive space, and low staff turnover.
✓Ideally you will have a Level 3 NVQ in Early Years or Childcare, with previous experience working in a nursery

✓As Nursery Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:
✓Build rapport with both children and parents, understanding their individual needs in order to provide a high standard of care
✓Act as educators, delivering exciting, fun and interactive learning and play
✓Work as part of a team to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which all children can play, develop, and learn.
✓We are looking for a Nursery Practitioner who has the following skills and experience:
✓Ideally hold a Level 3 NVQ in Early Years or Childcare, or hold previous experience in a similar position
✓Be passionate about working with young children and possess a warm smiling face that makes every child feel special
✓Must be able to laugh at jokes you don't understand, or you don't find funny!
✓Pretending to eat playdough creations realistically is required, and that of drinking numerous cups of pretend tea.
✓Must also have the ability to read a fairy tale upside down with at least 4 interruptions per page
✓You must be prepared to have lots of fun in the workplace
✓Laughter is something you can expect for a large part of your working day
✓Finally, you must be prepared to feel loved, special, and important to many young children and their families
