Permanent SEN Teacher needed for Hackney
Description✓Career Teachers are looking to recruit an outstanding SEN Teacher for a permanent role to start in September 2023.
✓We are looking for an ambitious, energetic, and committed teachers who will expand the learning experiences of the pupils.
✓The successful candidate will be teaching and supporting young people who may have autism, emotional behavioural difficulties, ADHD and associated complex needs.
✓This school specialises in the education and care of children and young people between the age of 4 and 19 years who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum with associated learning difficulties.
✓The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher and ideally have experience of teaching and supporting young people within SEN, along with the following characteristics:
✓Resilience - Willing to support some of the most vulnerable children who have varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties so there will be times where your resilience is challenged.
✓Communication - Communicating with young people is vital to understand their needs.
✓Organisation - You will have experience of organising, planning and teaching well-structured lessons tailored to the needs of the pupils as well as monitoring each students learning needs, adapting teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of each pupil.
