School Liaison Officer

DescriptionProtocol are working closely with a Further Education College based in Greater London in their search for an experienced School Liaison Officer.
The role;
This role is offering full time hours on a permanent basis [term time only] with a salary at £24,331 - £26,582 pro-rata
Within this position you will be acting as School Liaison Officer for the entire college group including sites at Bromley, Bexley, Orpington and Greenwich [travel between sites required].
This is a new role working within the colleges Marketing and Admissions Teams
This role is crucial in developing and maintaining relationships with local schools to support the application and transition processes for young people joining the Colleges at the start of the academic year
This role will work with curriculum teams and the Events Coordinator to plan experiences for applicants both within school settings and college.
Key responsibilities;
* Develop and maintain relationships with schools to support IAG delivery and application processes, including HE
* Increase applications from schools and increase conversion of application to enrolment from schools.
* Organise bespoke opportunities for schools and targeted cohorts to meet the needs of local schools.
* Work with the Marketing and Admissions team to support in the planning, promotion and delivery of open and application events.
* Work with schools leads to develop transition processes to ensure that support arrangements are in place for the beginning of the academic year and learning plans can be individualised.
The person;
The ideal candidate is confident and engaging in delivering presentations and is an excellent communicator both with colleagues, external partners and with young people
You will be organised and excel at making at new contacts and building relationships with external agencies.
