✓As a SEN teaching assistant, you will be required to work both inside and outside of the classroom as part of your role
✓It will be your responsibility to support a child on a 1:1 basis
✓Besides working with children who may have similar needs, you will also be working with other children who may also have similar needs
✓As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting smaller groups of children who are lower ability and who need extra support with their academic studies as they progress through their schooling
✓A teaching assistant working with students with special needs may be required to carry out interventions outside the classroom
✓As a classroom assistant, you will work closely with the teacher to assist in the classroom activities and help with the daily tasks
