We are urgently seeking a passionate, fully qualified teacher to work within an all-boys special school to the east of Birmingham
 
The role  
Teaching KS3 students with English, Mathematics, Science and other key subjects
They are currently operating at a KS2 level and therefore we are welcoming Primary and Secondary qualified teachers to apply. 
Forging strong relationships with students by operating on a child first approach
 
This is a full-time role, initially on a supply basis, with permanent opportunitiespossibly becomingavailable for the right candidate. 
The school 
A primary and KS3 all boys' special school to the east of Birmingham’s city centre. 
All students who attend have a Statement of Special Educational Need or an Education and Health Care Plan [EHCP]
 
The school operates a whole school curriculum model that provides natural progression towards full participation within the National Curriculum framework, with programmes designed for and implemented at an appropriate level. 
Requirements  
To be considered for the Learning Support Assistant position, you will:  
It is essential that you haveQualified Teacher Status [QTS]
 
Other qualifications to work with young people and support students with SEND is not essential but desirable. 
Have strong communication skills with the ability to quickly build a rapport with students and staff alike. 
Be able to successfully work as part of a team and be confident to work independently and deal withbehavioural challenges.

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.  
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications
The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is qualified teachers' status.
