SEN Teaching Assistant - Year 2

✓We have been asked to source an outstanding Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant who is looking for an exciting full-time role.
✓The Headteacher wishes to appoint an experienced and driven Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join the school from September 2023, this will be a long term, ongoing role with the potential to be become permanent.
✓As the Year 2 Teaching Assistant, the successful candidate will provide support to SEND pupils within the class
✓This will include working on a 1:1 basis, the needs of the pupils include ASD and ADHD.
✓The successful candidate must have prior experience of supporting SEND pupils and be able to demonstrate a calm and nurturing approach to learning.
✓About You:
✓- Hold relevant qualification [Level 2/Level 3]
✓- Previous Key Stage 1 experience
✓- Confident in supporting ASD / ADHD pupils
✓- Able to lead 1:1 interventions independently
✓- Excellent communication skills
✓- Driven in supporting all pupils equally
✓About the Role:
✓- SEN TA
✓- Commence September 2023
✓- Full time role [term time only]
✓- 1:1 and small group interventions
✓- Monitoring and recording pupil progression against targets
✓- Liaising with Class Teacher and SENCO
