SEN Teaching Assistant - Year 2

We have been asked to source an outstanding Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant who is looking for an exciting full-time role.
The Headteacher wishes to appoint an experienced and driven Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join the school from September 2023, this will be a long term, ongoing role with the potential to be become permanent.
As the Year 2 Teaching Assistant, the successful candidate will provide support to SEND pupils within the class
This will include working on a 1:1 basis, the needs of the pupils include ASD and ADHD.
The successful candidate must have prior experience of supporting SEND pupils and be able to demonstrate a calm and nurturing approach to learning.
About You:
-        Hold relevant qualification [Level 2/Level 3]
-        Previous Key Stage 1 experience
-        Confident in supporting ASD / ADHD pupils
-        Able to lead 1:1 interventions independently
-        Excellent communication skills
-        Driven in supporting all pupils equally
About the Role:
-        SEN TA
-        Commence September 2023
-        Full time role [term time only]
-        1:1 and small group interventions
-        Monitoring and recording pupil progression against targets
-        Liaising with Class Teacher and SENCO
