SEN Teaching Assistant
Description✓Flourish Education are recruiting a Teaching Assistant [TA] on a full-time basis for a Junior School class, in the Dursley area of Gloucestershire
✓The Teaching Assistant [TA] role is to begin immediately.
✓The Junior school is a 1-form entry school with a great reputation in the local area
✓The school is in a small scenic Gloucestershire town located near Dursley.
✓The SEN teaching assistant [TA] would need to have previous experience working with SEN children with and be committed to a full-time long-term position until the end of the academic year.
✓The SEN Teaching Assistant [TA] role
✓To support class teacher with everyday activities.
✓To provide 1-to-1 support and build relationship to designated SEN pupil.
✓Provide safety to the class children.
✓Ability to manage challenging behaviour.
✓Have good curriculum knowledge of KS2 [Key stage 2].
✓Required skills and experience for the SEN Teaching Assistant [TA] role
✓1-to-1 SEN experience is essential.
✓Qualified minimum level 2 Teaching assistant or equivalent.
✓Experience working in a primary school setting.
✓Commitment to long term post.
✓Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
✓A clear DBS on the update service.
✓A passion for working with children.
✓You will also earn up to £150 welcome to the team bonus; working as an SEN Teaching Assistant for Flourish Education also offers you other excellent benefits, including:
