✓Location: Hackney, London
✓Salary: £85-£110 per day
✓Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Do you have experience working with children with complex needs, such as Autism, ADHD, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a specialist SEN school in Hackney as an SEN Teaching Assistant.
✓The school is dedicated to providing high-quality education and support for students with a range of complex needs
✓As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers and support staff to provide personalised support for each student, helping them to achieve their full potential.
✓Role Overview:
✓As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:
✓Supporting students in the classroom and in small group sessions
✓Providing one-to-one support to students with additional needs
✓Supporting students with behaviour management and emotional regulation
✓Helping to develop and implement Individual Education Plans [IEPs] and Behaviour Plans Liaising with parents, carers and outside agencies to ensure a holistic approach to support
✓Requirements:
✓Previous experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a school setting
✓A strong understanding of different SEN needs and strategies for supporting students
✓Excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
✓A passion for making a positive difference in the lives of young people
✓Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
