✓Role Description:
✓As a valued member of our team, you will work closely with students, teachers, and other professionals to provide tailored support to students with SEN
✓Your responsibilities will include:

✓Empowering Student Success:
✓Build strong and positive relationships with students, creating a safe and supportive environment.
✓Support students in accessing the curriculum and adapting teaching materials to meet their individual needs.
✓Foster students' confidence, self-esteem, and independence.2
✓Collaborative Approach:
✓Work collaboratively with teachers and specialists to develop and implement individualized education plans [IEPs].
✓Assist in creating and maintaining a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
✓Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.3
✓Holistic Support:
✓Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, addressing their academic, social, and emotional needs.
✓Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and engagement.
✓Support students with their personal care needs, if required.4
✓Progress Monitoring:
✓Observe and assess students' progress, recording their achievements and challenges.
✓Collaborate with the team to evaluate and adjust strategies to meet individual student needs.
✓Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on students' progress.
✓Requirements:
✓Genuine passion for working with students with SEN and making a positive impact on their lives.
✓Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational or care setting.
✓Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
✓Empathy, patience, and a nurturing approach towards supporting students' diverse needs.
✓Knowledge of SEN conditions and strategies for supporting students with diverse needs.
✓Understanding of child safeguarding and welfare responsibilities.
✓Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
