What will you do as a SEN Teaching Assistant and what can the school offer you?
* Supporting children 1:1 with mild-moderate SEN including Autism [ASD], Speech and Language issues, Communication and Social interaction issues, mild behaviour issues and much more!
* Support children inside and outside of the classroom on a 1-2-1 basis and small group interventions when required.
* Provide a ‘consistent face’ to the children so they are comfortable and can progress in a safe and stimulating environment!
* The school are constantly providing training and CPD for staff, making sure you are best equipped to make sure students flourish!

Job description – SEN Teaching Assistant
* SEN Teaching Assistant
* Supporting children with a range of SEN across year groups
* Working with children with Autism / ASD, ADHD, SEMH and behavioural difficulties
* Working in a Primary School
* September 2023 start - Full Time & Long Term
* £110 per day rising to £130 after 12 weeks
* Located in the borough of Islington
Person Specification – SEN Teaching Assistant
* Must have a good degree from a reputable University
* Good understanding of SEN is required
* Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEN would be ideal
* Passionate about supporting children with SEN
* You must be able to work effectively as part of a team
* Calm and compassionate nature
