Protocol Education are working with a specialist school based in Hackney, who are currently looking for a committed, passionate and experienced SEND Science Teacher
The successful SEND Teacher will be responsible for providing specialised education to students with special educational needs [SEN] such as challenging behaviour, autism, SEMH, PMLD and associated conditions.
What you will be doing:
Develop education plans for each student based on their unique needs and abilities
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the specific needs of each student
Create a safe and nurturing learning environment that promotes inclusivity and diversity
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and development
Attend and participate in relevant meetings, professional development opportunities, and training sessions
What we need from you:
Qualified Teacher Status [QTS] or equivalent
Experience working with students with special educational needs, particularly challenging behaviour, autism and/or learning difficulties
Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including the SEND Code of Practice
Ability to develop and implement effective teaching strategies for students with diverse needs and abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay
