✓Protocol Education are working with a specialist school based in Hackney, who are currently looking for a committed, passionate and experienced SEND Science Teacher
✓The successful SEND Teacher will be responsible for providing specialised education to students with special educational needs [SEN] such as challenging behaviour, autism, SEMH, PMLD and associated conditions.
✓What you will be doing:
✓Develop education plans for each student based on their unique needs and abilities
✓Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the specific needs of each student
✓Create a safe and nurturing learning environment that promotes inclusivity and diversity
✓Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
✓Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and development
✓Attend and participate in relevant meetings, professional development opportunities, and training sessions
✓What we need from you:
✓Qualified Teacher Status [QTS] or equivalent
✓Experience working with students with special educational needs, particularly challenging behaviour, autism and/or learning difficulties
✓Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including the SEND Code of Practice
✓Ability to develop and implement effective teaching strategies for students with diverse needs and abilities
✓Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✓Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning
