✓As a Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by providing essential support to schools and ensuring the continuity of learning in the absence of regular classroom teachers.
✓Responsibilities of a Supply Teacher:
✓* Delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of regular classroom teachers.
✓* Adapting teaching materials and strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
✓* Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
✓* Providing guidance, assistance, and support to students in their academic and personal development.
✓* Collaborating with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a smooth transition for students and effective communication.
✓* Implementing school policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and student well-being.
✓* Assessing student progress, providing feedback, and maintaining accurate records as required.
✓* Demonstrating flexibility and willingness to work across different grade levels and subject areas.
✓Requirements of a Supply Teacher:
✓* Qualified Teacher Status [QTS] or equivalent certification.
✓* Enhanced DBS check and
✓* Previous teaching experience in a classroom setting, ideally with experience across multiple key stages.
✓* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
✓* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.
✓* Adaptability and the ability to quickly adjust to different school environments and curriculum requirements.
✓* Organisational skills to manage lesson plans, assessments, and administrative tasks efficiently.
