✓A special school for young people aged 7-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs [SEMH] for students in KS2-KS4
✓The schools mission is to offer a turning point for the most vulnerable young people in Blackburn and Burnley who have complex social, emotional and mental health needs.
✓The schools personal approach to learning ensures that a unique and stimulating curriculum is created to suit the needs of every individual pupil.
✓Your Role will be to give pupils the necessary support to improve their confidence, self-esteem and enable them to become successful learners in school and prepared for their future working lives.
✓You will assist and provide extra support to pupils in small groups, where they study the core curriculum and activities, tailored to individual student needs.
✓In addition to the core curriculum, we provide rich and varied curriculum opportunities ranging from vocational courses, academic programmes and programmes that support pupils' personal and social development
✓TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
✓- Hold Right to Work in the UK
✓- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
✓- Provide two professional references
